We would recommend Paul Caruana as a builder, without hesitation, to anyone.  We have had a lot of experience working with general contractors and a variety of subcontractors and we have never had such a positive experience. 
 
Paul has a terrific sense of design aesthetics, an uncompromising focus on quality workmanship, a dedication to keeping the project moving forward on schedule and budget, and a positive, professional attitude at all times.
 
Some of the special things that stand out are:
1)  Paul's enthusiastic willingness to work with us on modifying design and finish details even though we purchased the house well into construction.  He didn't overwhelm us with change order charges, just worked with us to satisfy our requests in a win-win fashion. 
2)  Paul's vision for finishing details (from lighting fixtures to the slab countertops) were so aesthetically sound that we modified very little.
3)  There was not a single "surprise" that we had to contend with on either budget or schedule.  His communication with us was excellent.
 
But the strongest indicator of what an exceptional builder he is to work with has come in the months and years since our home was completed:  Paul continues to be extremely responsive to any issues or questions that we have, long after our one-year new home warranty has expired.
